Protecting the confidentiality of our clients’ private, personal information is and always has been a top priority at Independence Trust Company (ITC). We recognize and respect the expectation of privacy that attaches to each client contact and continually strive to find ways to improve our existing practices.

 

What are the categories of non-public information about you which ITC collects?

ITC collects and receives non-public personal information about you such as your income, net worth, assets and social security number from the following sources: information we receive from you and your other advisors (such as accountants, attorneys, or investment advisors) in meetings, phone calls, written or electronic correspondence, statements, applications, and other documents.

 

What personal information does ITC disclose to others?

ITC does not disclose non-public personal information about you to anyone except upon your consent or as required by law. This includes disclosing it upon your consent or direction--be that direct or indirect--and providing information returns to the Internal Revenue Service.

 

How does ITC protect your non-public information which is contained in our files?

ITC restricts access to your personal account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Moreover, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
